16U Rep OBA "A" Silver Medalists
The 16U Rep Athletics played in the OBA "A" Championship in Belleville. The team had a great weekend beating the Whitby Canadians, Kitchener Panthers (twice) and the Essex Yellow Jackets to get to the final against the host, Quinte Royals. Playing in front a large home town crowd, the Royals were just too deep, ready, rested and they proved to be the better team. The road to the OBA finals in Belleville started with 36 teams in early August. To finish in the top two in the Province is a great accomplishment for the boys.
